Beliefs are ideas or thoughts that are assumed to be true. These ideas unconsciously program our lives. Often they are phrases we have heard during our childhood, statements created due to a bad experience, socio-cultural thoughts that have been imposed by living in a specific society and even statements from people you consider an authority and unconsciously believe their truth.

There are also moral beliefs that are your absolute truths.

Let me tell you that there is no right truth, but what may be a true truth for you is not true for someone else and it all depends on the program your mind has installed, that is, the belief that governs your life.

If your belief is: Money does not fall from the trees, it will be very difficult to get rich and money flows in your life.

If on the contrary you are programmed with the phrase: Money flows easily and effortlessly in my life, I am sure that your truth is that money comes into your life and you feel abundant.

Which truth is true? Both, because both people are living that experience.

HOW DO YOU EASILY IDENTIFY BELIEFS?

Follow these steps to identify beliefs that are limiting you.

All those phrases that are built with SHOULD, MUST, I HAVE…IF I WANT SOMETHING / TO GET SOMETHING.

  • I must save up if I want to buy that dress.
  • I have to eat well if I want to live many years.
  • To be successful you have to study a career.

Negative phrases, NO + verb CAN, NO + verb TO BE.

  • I’m not good enough at languages.
  • It is not possible to win the lottery.
  • I can’t get that job because I haven’t studied economics.
  • I can’t live without working.

Verb TO BE + Adjective:

  • I’m stupid, I’m bad…

Verb – To Believe:

  • I think I’m being displaced.
  • I think I’m not part of it.
  • I think life is complicated.
  • I think there’s a crisis and I’m not going to find a job.

Identify your beliefs now:

  • I AM…
  • I’M NOT…
  • I CAN’T…
  • I MUST… IF I’M TO GET…
  • YOU HAVE TO… IF I WANT TO GET…
  • I HAVE TO… TO GET…
  • I BELIEVE…

Everything you’ve written is limiting you in manifesting the life you desire. I will now explain a technique for you to change these beliefs one by one.

TECHNIQUE TO CHANGE BELIEFS

Take one of the beliefs above for example: “I don’t speak English well” and ask yourself:

  • How does it make me feel?
  • What would be the worst thing that could happen to me if “I don’t speak English well”?
  • What is the best thing that could happen to me if “I don’t speak English well”?
  • What is the positive intent of believing that “I don’t speak good English”?

Positive intent is how good it is to keep thinking or acting that way. It may be something you experienced at one time that served you, but right now it no longer serves you and keeps you blocked from achieving your goals.

  • What would the belief in positive be like? “I speak great English.
  • How does that make me feel?
  • What would be the worst thing that could happen to me if “I speak great English”?
  • What would be the best thing that could happen to me if “I speak great English”?

Close your eyes and ask yourself again how does it make me feel to say “I speak great English”?

Where do you feel that feeling? Connect with it and feel it.

Expand that feeling into every cell of your body and when you return to the present, repeat the new belief “I speak great English.

Repeat this exercise daily until your internal dialogue has changed and your new truth is manifested.
